NINTENDO x BLOOMINGDALE’S
THE PROJECT:
Bloomingdale’s partnered with Nintendo to launch a special capsule collection. To push the campaign on social, we created a series of interactive Instagram Stories that gamified the shopping experience. Viewers could “tap to play” as Nintendo characters—like Mario—moved through the story, revealing capsule collection pieces along the way. At the end, users could swipe up to shop the exclusive products.
MY ROLE: SENIOR ART DIRECTOR
Pitched and concepted a gamified storytelling approach for Instagram.
Shaped the creative direction, drawing from Nintendo’s nostalgic Game Boy-style gameplay.
Collaborated with Nintendo to secure and integrate official character assets.
Worked closely with the animator + producer to design and build the interactive stories.
Oversaw the project from ideation to launch, ensuring the campaign captured nostalgia while driving engagement and conversions.
